Imber has so much to offer for our younger members
From fun swims in our family friendly pool , safe cycle rides across our extensive grounds, nature walks visiting the Imber bees on route, picnics or a weekend of camping by the river.
Our playground is popular and is situated right next to our decking areas so all the family can enjoy a fun afternoon out.
Swimming Pool
The pool opened in 1994, soon after opening a swimming school was started and we’ve since been teaching children mainly but also coaching adults. Nowadays we teach in the range of around 600 children per year and have various activities for all ages such as Pool Parties, Fun Sessions and Crash Courses during school holidays, Led by our Pool Manager Phil who’s been with us since January 1995, all our staff is highly trained and qualified, most of them have grown up as Club Members and were trained in house to form a very efficient and friendly Team and provide a Safe and Pleasant environment for all our Members
Our Pool is 18 x 6 metres, ranges from a depth of 1 to 1.5 metres and runs at an average temperature ranging from 30 to 31.5 degrees Celsius all year round. We also have a dry sauna with access from the poolside.
Our Grounds
We have large open spaces in a secure family friendly environment bounded by two rivers. Whether just wondering the grounds as a family, picnicing by the river or the adventures of overnight camping, our younger members love being at Imber.
