Imber Court elects new Chairman

Imber Court has elected a new Chairman at its recent AGM.
Geoff Smith, who has a long association with Imber, has taken over from Stephen Cassidy on his retirement.
"it's a huge honour to follow Stephen Cassidy as Chair of this wonderful, historic club of ours.
It's the task of your Directors and Management Team to ensure the Club continues to thrive. If I could sum up in one phrase how I see things going forward it would simply be "The Look and the Feel".
The Club must look right, and it must feel right. So, it's about making sure our buildings and grounds look nice and it's about creating a place where our members, their families and friends enjoy coming back to, whether that be for a walk in the grounds, a relaxing afternoon with the family on the decks, a drink at the bar, using our club facilities for sports, or for an event or function.
It's about enhancing your experience and trying as hard as we can to make you feel special.
Many of you I know already, hopefully those I don't I can meet soon, and as I'm regularly at the club during the week, feel free to come and say hello. I look forward to it".
